It is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded by former Formula One driver Bob Bondurant[1] in 1968, it was originally located at Orange County International Raceway in California, later moving to Ontario Motor Speedway in 1970, and to Sears Point International Raceway in 1973.[2] In 1990 a purpose-built training facility was opened in Phoenix, Arizona.[3][4] The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving is the largest purpose-built driving school in the world. (December 2006) Johnny Mauro's Alfa Romeo 308 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum. Johnny Mauro (October 25, 1910 – January 23, 2003) was an American racecar driver. He was born in Denver Colorado on October 25, 1910. John loved baseball and cars. He and his family owned several car dealerships, leading him to being the only Ferrari importer in Denver for many years. He raced in Indy cars for Ferrari in the 40's and 50's, and was the mastermind behind the United States Truck Driving School or U.S.T.D.S., a company still owned by John's daughter Arlene and her husband Dick Lammers.
