Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), formerly the Florida Department of Public Safety, is a state agency of Florida. The agency handles the issuing of drivers licenses and handles the registration and titling of automobiles, boats, and mobile homes.
