  • Kansas State League

Three different baseball leagues in the United States have used the name Kansas State League. All three leagues were based in the state of Kansas in the early 20th century. For the most part the three leagues had different member cities, with the exceptions of Great Bend, Kansas, and Hutchinson, Kansas, both of which appeared in all three. The first league was established in 1905 as a class D league and existed for two years. The second got off the ground in 1909 and lasted for three seasons. The league coexisted with the Central Kansas League until its collapse in 1911. In 1913, the Central Kansas League changed its name to the now vacant Kansas State League. The league ran for two more years before disbanding.
